MeidasTouch host Ben Meiselas reports on news that Donald Trump’s son Barron is being called out by “Pharma Bro” Martin Shkreli for being involved in what appears to be a bizarre, pump-and-dump scheme centering around a crypto coin called DJT.
During an X Spaces event earlier this week, Shkreli, a felon and former CEO once dubbed the “most hated man in America” after jacking up the prices of life-saving drugs by 5,000 percent, stated that he and Barron Trump are friends, and even called him a “son figure”. He goes on to detail how both he and Barron were involved in the development of the DJT crypto coin and has “1,000 pieces of evidence” to prove it.
Whether or not it’s true remains unclear. Shkreli is a proven piece of shit, so it’s entirely on-brand that he would be involved in something like this, or perhaps even lie about it. Oddly enough, however, the Trump camp has yet to comment either way about Barron’s involvement.
